The refs job isnt to help the Lions trick the Cowboys. You have to clearly report. Guarantee he didnt tell the ref hed be sending multiple linemen making signals to fake report. Wanna know why? Because it would be shady as for the refs to agree to that.
Show had said coach and ref absolutely do go over pre game and it is common practice to inform refs of any unusual play you plan.
