You are correct, a lot of people speak ill of dude here in Atlanta. I actually do know someone who’s in the know regarding this…..so RC can stop being a kiddo in every post.
A player openly flirting with another team with multiple years left on his deal isn’t hard to understand, nor is he long for that flirt team with any success there. The fact that he got fewer player votes for the ASG than he has teammates speaks volumes. They don’t like him. It’s always someone else’s fault though, never Trae’s.

might as well go sign danny green, he show wendy or the young players what to do after a loss...
were you also the one having threesomes with Dwight Howard when he played there?
Seems to be close to a done deal with 3 teams LA / ATL / NETS
ATL getting only Dinwiddie + LA 29th pick...
DJ to LA and Russel to Nets
LOL, what a reaming ATL is taking on that one. At least it helps those juicy Hawks picks!
That’s Reading As Pure Speculation

The worse return Atlanta gets, the better.
Just accelerates Trae wanting out which results in either Spurs getting him or Hawks being awful with Spurs owning their picks.
We all know DJ will be moved the D’Lo trade asset position when the Lakers struggle next year.
I bet DJ wants his car back after his “Father” putting his business on twitter again.
Someone took his car?
Unfortunately, With The Momentum The Spurs Have Right Now I Think This Becomes Less Likely. If They Were Still Discombobulated As A Team, I Could See It… I Don’t See Them Getting Murray After Wesley’s Rise And Tre’s Undeniable Chemistry With Wemby. If Only One Of These Things Were Happening, Then Sure. But Not Both.
I Also Don’t See Them Going For A Point Guard Anymore In The Upcoming Draft. It Would Be Discouraging To A Player Like Wesley To Suddenly Put Someone Ahead Of Him In The Rotation After Showing So Much Growth. A Combo Guard Maybe But Not A Full On Point Like Topic Or Dilly.
What Message Are You Sending To The Team If You Draft A Player Who Is Weaker On Defense (Dilly) And Play Him Ahead Of Someone Who Is Giving A Big Boost On That End? It’s A Bad One.
For The Draft, I Think Their Focus Will Be On Replacing Julian, Keldon, And Cedi In The Rotation
My Personal Preference Is Still To See The Spurs Trading For Murray So I’m Going To Keep This Writing Style Up Until The Trade Deadline. I Think Murray Starting And Wesley Backing Up Would Still Be Better For The Team Long Term, I Just Believe That It’s Not Looking Realistic Now Especially After Pop Saying Tre Is The Heart And Soul Of The Team… But We Will See.
I don’t think pop wants to deal with DJ; you can’t trust him to lead.
Agreed. I only think they do the deal if it was too good a bargain to pass on.
Ya - he has shown no growth in maturity IMO. Fine player but not the type I think I want around the team
Not that it's everything and it lacks context that Murray is playing out of position on a team waiting to be broken up, but it is interesting that he's ranked 97th and Jones 119th in what's considered by stats geeks and people within' the league to be one of, if not the most credible publicly available advanced stats.
Estimated Plus-Minus (EPM) (dunksandthrees.com)
It doesn't seem like the Spurs are in the mix, but either way, I wonder if Jones has enough value to be the "good, young player" portion of a package for a top starter or star PG. Even if the team receiving him doesn't necessarily want him, maybe he can fetch a good 2nd or multiple 2nds.
^ not surprising. The Hawks devalued their assets the moment they said everyone but Trae and Johnson are on the table.
It's less devaluing their assets (in this case) and more that the Lakers don't have anything to trade.
True, and I suspect they are having an incredibly hard time finding a third party that sees D’Angelo as an asset
