Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
you goin too?
lets get MannyIsGod legooooo
Yes I stupidly bought tickets not knowing it's a 2nd in back to back
Hit the lottery tho
Yessssss!
Very happy for our DC area Spurs fam!
At the 4:38 mark Victor says the plan is for him to sit out the first game of the B2B (eg Charlotte) if you want to hear it straight from the horse's mouth
Lmao ah yeah. About to buy tickets. Wemby reading spurtslk confirmed
I mean it's all relative. I've sat practically courtside for under 150 per ticket which seems cheap AF to me. Not quite that cheap for this game beacuse its a Saturday game but still doesn't seem very expensive. My PoV is warped by having lived here for awhile though. Nothing in DC is actually cheap.
Too see first hand a possible future top 10 all time player in his rookie season is worth it.
yeah im used to lakers/staples prices so this feels like dollar general by comparison
Umm seats are about 250 each for a high section 100
Including tax
Realistically you buying at least 2 or 3
Call me old fashioned but that's not cheap tbqh
nig gonna trip over the popcorn vendor's foot during shootaround tbh
I sold my tickets for the 12/23 game against the Mavs because I was traveling, and then he ended up not playing. Feel sorry for the buyers.
If he doesn't play the next Dallas game I might just have to road trip it to SA.
Too close to a "Washington Dollar Generals" joke.
Anyway, I said before it could happen. The Spurs would LOVE to pick up losses against Charlotte, and the best way to do that is to sit Wemby. The Wizards are so bad that SA couldn't feel good about their odds to losing the Washington even without Wemby.
This team is hard to watch even with Wemby.
for 100s sections? yeah thats cheap tbh
you're paying 130+ for the cheapest nosebleeds for the spurs @ lakers game, for comparison.
Plus having cholos threatening to slit your throat when you yell out how Kobe's a got to them.
why do charlotte losses matter specifically? you think they can make a run for the play in? they are 9 games out of a play-in spot and have 8 wins on the season
The meta of this draft for the Spurs is trying to limit the downside of their pick rather than trying to win the lotto altogether. I don't think they care about the first pick, but I imagine they'd want to protect themselves from falling too far and completely missing out on guys in the top 5-7. Once Victor comes off his minutes restriction, the Spurs are poised to win a higher percentage of their games than a lot of other clubs who are going to be full-on tanking. They need to build as much cushion as they can. The Hornets are only one game ahead of the Spurs in the win column, and while they're tied with Washington, the Wizards are irredeemably awful and won't be going on a win streak any time soon. So beating both Charlotte and Washington by playing Wemby against the Hornets would've been bad.
Nosebleeds are for the janitors and the maids IMO
that might as well watch at home
I'm.old
For when you're young too. I still prefer nosebleed seats to TV since you can see the plays develop better from the upper deck views.
I literally just got 3 seats in a lower bowl section at 160 apiece (no fees cause ticpick) on the 7th row of that section (J). Have no idea what you're looking at.
https://www.tickpick.com/buy-washing...de:%7Cexclude:
There's 4 seats in section 109 for 157 apiece. Row G.
Ticketmaster
What section?
Maybe that's not including taxes n fees?
Otherwise. congrats
