Did you clean the wound? Like really really clean it?
I cut my head at about the beginning of the hairline.
It's long and seems kinda deep (although its no longer bleeding) should I get s ches?
Did you clean the wound? Like really really clean it?
Yeah, it's not bleeding, the laceration looks dark and full of blood.
How'd you cut your head?
What'd you cut it on?
Sounds like you need staples.
No, I'm just kidding.
If you cut it on metal or something, then you might need a tetanus shot. If you didn't and it's not deep or bleeding, you probably can just superglue it shut (not joking).
I cut my head once when I was drunk and it was a 2 inch gash right on the top of my head. I didn't think I needed s ches but the people I was with insisted I go to the emergency room. I ended up getting 10 s ches and the doctor told me the worst place to get a cut and leave untreated is on the head. At least that's what I think he told me. I don't remember much. I was drunk.
It's not gonna heal right unless you get s ches.
What kind of pictures were you taking now?
haha!!
How long is the cut?
Stiches might help cosmetically, depending on where the scar is.
If it's deep, it would hurt to have someone check it out. There are lots of vessels in the scalp and you can actually lose a surprising amount of blood there.
My friend cut his head going down some stairs too... he didn't want to go anywhere at first but finally went to the hospital and it turned out he needed 10 s ches. I suggest you go.
Can you see your brain?
Half an inch.
I'm thinking abut just using some skin adhesive or steri-strips.
I busted my head on a doorknob about ten years ago and got a similar gash. It needed s ches then and you'll probably need s ches now.
If he gets gang-green will they have to cut off his head?
only the French get s ches
Go to walmart and get the emergency stich staple kit for camping. You can staple your own head
I just got done talking with two different nurses I know and both after seeing the cut say it doesn't need s ches and that some steri-tape will do the job.
Well that's good.
Makes sure you clean it well so it doesn't get infected.
Yeah, go to the Nix and get that derma-glued. You'll be there 1-2 hours as opposed to 4-12 hours in an emergency room.
