Once I saw him. Before he came to NBA on one game he tried to dunk but he couldn't.

I read once that during the Sun's practice, Nash dunked twice and surprised teammates. I also remember when he was on the Mavs, he said that dunking took too much energy so he stopped.

Yes, he can dunk, he took an alleyoop from Raja Bell in a Suns practice this year. He just barely got it in there but he can do it. Probably not comfortable enough to try it in a game.

Could Mugsy Bouges, the shortest player in the NBA, dunk?

I already know that Boykins can dunk.

I've seen Nash dunk with my own eyes. Ever seen high school kids with minimal hops barely clear the rim with a junior-sized basketball? That's what it looks like when Nash dunks.

His under-the-hoop, top-english-off-the-backboard moves are more fun to watch. I've never seen a guy who could hit difficult layups on a consistent basis like Nash. He's got a sixth sense for defenders and how to adjust on the fly.

I'm just curious. Why are people impressed with dunks? The average height of the NBA is 6'7", so most of them can dunk with no problem, but who cares?

Layups and jumpshots also count for 2 points.

Apparently he dunked twice in practice a few months ago, once with the left hand then once with the right. Probably looked pretty, well, unimpressive. Spud Webb he is not. But can Spud do this?

That was a great charge taken by Nash.

Don't know many guys with back problems who would do that. Thanks for posting.

Another impressive (atttempted) charge taken by Nash. Looks like he was inside the circle this time, unlike the Kobe dunk, but great effort.

I find it amusing that you think it's impressive for some six foot eight guy to dunk on Steve Nash, and that his trying to take a charge is somehow a sign of ownage. At the end of the day, Nash wins games, those flashy dunkers get sent home crying. You're a funny kid.

Nash is 6-3, still impressive him being dunked on by a 6-7 Ricky Davis. Or jumped over i should say. Maybe he should just get out of the way next time
