Wu-Tang is the group that originally got me into hip hop when I was in High School. These guys can do no wrong in my eyes.
They are also covering a beatles song on the album.
Should be great. I hope they go back to their old grimy beats instead of some of the newer stuff they've been experimenting with on their solo projects.
I agree. Someone told me that they have recorded between 40-50 songs and have now chosen 14 to be on the CD.
This could seriously be the first CD I've purchased in the last three years.
wikipedia has some info. mathematics and rza are both credited with producing a lot of the tracks, so it should be solid beatwise.8 Diagrams will feature eight of the Clan's original nine members: RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Masta Killa. The album will feature previously recorded material from ODB, the ninth member, as well as a tribute track led "Life Changes".
You should check out Sherman Austin's new CD, "Silence is Defeat". It's one of the best hip-hop albums I've heard in years.

I can't find my cd, and I went to get it on itunes but they only list it as a partial album, which means I'd have to pay 24 bucks for each individual song. I really need this album, it was ing awesome, every single song.

came out last year.
Just picked up the new Rob Sonic and it's definitely worth checking out. Although I liked him better with Sonic Sum his new stuff since he's gone to Definitive Jux still kicks ass. The beats are grimy as and his lyrics are unmatchable. Album is called Sabotage Gigante.
Check the song "smoke em if you got um" featuring Aesop Rock. Just pay the .99 cents on itunes you cheap bas s. These two together are unreal. If they ever make an entire album together it would be absolutely amazing. They've already collabed on a couple now so I wouldn't be surprised.
