I dunno, dan was pretty tough to listen to near the end there.
Almost sounded like it was a struggle just read the teleprompter.
I do miss his articles on the Spurs in the paper though.
It would be nice if Greg Simmons didn't sensationalize everything. I really wish Dan Cook could come out of retirement for a second time. Him on a defibrulator is light years better than Harris, Reinagel and, Simmons.

It'd sure be funny if Person A happened to catch a beatdown on live TV from Person B.
If you ever happen to see Anthony Pittman in a bar, challenge him to a game of darts. He's not very good...
of a nice guy, though.
Oh and she tries to hide it most of the time, but every once in a while you can tell...Gina Galaviz has a nice rack. Not the hottest chick on KSAT, though.
I graduated from high school with her.
I'll scan one of her cheerleading pics and post it.
I'm bumping this because she's our spokeswoman for the place I work for now. I just met her.
Oh my.
oh and this has happened:
Don't know if that was posted anywhere else.

Local Reporter Arrested
A former reporter for KSAT has filed a lawsuit against the television station, alleging gender discrimination.
Gina Galaviz filed the wrongful termination lawsuit in federal court Friday.
The lawsuit states that Galaviz worked as a police beat reporter for KSAT for a period of 10 years until she was fired after being arrested for assault in July of 2007. The assault involved an incident between Galaviz and her fiancé.
Galaviz claims KSAT fired her despite her satisfactory job performance. The lawsuit states KSAT discriminated against her based on her gender and cites at least one case in which a male employee at the station was treated differently after being involved in a similar situation.
Galaviz Talks To News 4
Galaviz was fired shortly after being arrested, but said KSAT led her to believe they would stand by her.
News 4's Jacqueline Ortiz spoke to Galaviz. Galaviz said she just wanted to be treated fairly, just like two of her male co-workers who had also been in trouble with the law.
"I felt it was important," Galaviz said. "I feel I was treated differently then male employees that I worked with."
With her attorney present, Galaviz explained why she's suing her former employer for gender discrimination.
"I was handed a letter. It was a paragraph, and it said in light of recent events the contract was being terminated," said Galaviz.
The 'recent events' referred to in the letter concern her arrest for assault in July of 2007. Gina told News 4 the television station led her to believe it would stand by her like they had for other male co-workers in the past.
News 4 obtained a copy of the lawsuit. It states male co-workers who were arrested and/or convicted of misdemeanor assault were not terminated.
"I was not fired for my job performance," Galaviz said. "In fact, I had just signed a new contract in February of 2007, a new 3-year contract."
Galaviz has not been convicted of any crime, and she says she will see the case through.
"I'd like to see justice. It's the right thing to do. Perhaps, maybe the company will think twice if somebody else is in my place," Galaviz told News 4.
Assault charges are still pending against Galaviz.
News 4 contacted KSAT to obtain a comment about the lawsuit. We left several messages, but our calls were not returned.
And who does JB work for now???
She's your company's spokeswoman?!
Do you work for a distellery?
What do you say to a women with two black eyes? Nothing, you already told her twice.....
Is she a psycho hose beast?
She was actually pretty nice, but she's probably trying to make a good first impression. We'll just have to see.
that's nothing.
what do 50 battered women have in common?
they all dont know when to shut the up!!!!
I've always kinda liked Gina. She's got that Tonya Harding bad girl thing going on.

Sick but funny.
I am sure she will be forever grateful to you for bumping this thread! she might go apple on you.
Wasn't it an apple? Those ers can hurt itf you catch one in the forehead at close distance.
Actually, i think it was then District 3 Councilman Ron Segovia who allegedly threw an apple at his former girlfriend, KSAT-TV reporter Gina Galaviz. He was cleared of any wrong doing by a grand jury.
When did this happen? The date on the article is from last summer & on the mobile portal it doesn't give the time & date in the posts are from.
I'll throw it right back at her!!
