I am looking for a freeware program where I can scan a do ent,
form, and fill in the blanks. Preferably one where the do ent is
as scanned. I have found a couple, but they are not proportional
or look like the actual do ent you scan when you go to fill in the
    blanks.

I guess what I am trying to say is I want something where if you
put the form in a typewriter, you would just answer or fill in the blanks
    as they appear.

Razer Surround is free until the end of the year. Turns your stereo headphones into virtual 7.1 surround. The simulation sounds pretty damn good tbh.

I got tired of VLC, so I finally found some Windows builds of mpv.
    Home page.
    Windows builds.

I had tried the original MPlayer on Windows a few times, but it never felt right. This one does a nice job, although I had to modify the Registry to add a "Play with mpv" option to the right-click context menu. Otherwise, you have to launch it from the command prompt.

Have a suggestion for playing blurays?

Maybe it's me, but I notice the several milliseconds of lag between movement and sound of digital movies, and it irritates the out of me. I need a program that will access a bluray disk from a player without any lag between them.

    ElNono...

You seem to know more than most here in the computer realm. Any suggestions?

He knows more than I do, but have you tried Media Player Classic? It has the capability of shifting audio in media files; I imagine it should be able to do the same for BluRays.

That's pretty weird. Do yo use bluetooth speakers or a surround system? That can add a 20+ msec delay. As Chump said, some players will let you shift the audio a bit to compensate.

Frankly, don't have a bluray in my PC, so I might not be able to assist you more, but a cursory search doesn't seem to come up with anything solid.

If you have a PS3 or PS4, that might be another option.

No Bluetooth. Built in speakers and plugin headphones. Been playing DVDs with no issues since I bought the laptop.

My searches came up with the term "lip sync." When I installed a bluray rewriter on my tower, it had no issues. Just a couple days ago, I bought an external USB3 bluray rewriter for my laptop. It does DVD's just fine, but the audio notably lags on some blurays. Reading different sites have claims that the sync gets lost due to differing clock speeds of the CPU and graphics processors, and some players are better than others. I have Power DVD v10 on both computers. I does just fine on my win7 tower for both DVD and Bluray, but only plays DVD on my winX laptop. It appears the drivers that came with my first rewriter in the tower were all I needed. The external player is plug~n~play for the tower with V10 tower DVD even. Just not the WinX.

I then upgraded to Power DVD v15, and everything plays fine except for the lag. No matter what I tried, reboots, remover, reload, etc... the notable lag persists, until....

Just today, downloaded the DVD Fab player. It works just fine, no lag. Now, so does Power DVD 15.

    Go figure.

Maybe DVD Fab had the right time base correction?

This MSI Leopard Pro 486 plays Blurays very, very crisp on it's 1080P screen. Cost me $1,050 new.
