If reports of Castle being a high character guy, hard worker and a great teammate are true, it's the obvious Spurs pick, especially after Sochan experiment last season. Just because Sochan wasn't capable of playing that role, it doesn't mean Pop has given up on it. Even if he doesn't develop into...

Ha, that's a hoot. He swore a death warrant on MBS for slicing and dicing that scum reporter, then had to go back over to the sand and beg MBS for that black gold. MBS told him to go pound salt, they fist bumped on the sidewalk out front and Biden came back to the states to $5 gallon gas.

Good news is in a draft like this, Spurs have so many 2nds alongside other sweeteners like CHA, CHI and swaps etc…that they should be able to move up if they want to

Somehow Zaccharie Risacher drops to 4th and Stephon Castle drops to 8th. We don't do anything else this off season. Summer '25, We get lucky with ping pong balls again... not the top pick, but 2 picks high enough to draft Nolan Traore and Ace Bailey. We then get Lauri Markkanen in a sign and...

A couple of notes from yesterday. -Both Givony and Woo had Devin Carter rated top ten. Also Vecenie and Bryce Simon mentioned they had Carter rated in their top ten (even though he went later in their mock). For me, it’s starting to feel like Carter is a lock at 8 or 9, we’ll see… ...

Agreed. I feel like I have to add caveats all the time so here it is: I would still be fine with SA drafting Castle. But I really have more concerns than most it seems with him. Theres a lot of bust potential here, more than meets the eye. His upside is still there so that’s good and its not like I...

Sometimes, the POA defender takes it in the shorts on Drtg. Bruce Bowen was tied for 10th on the 2002-2003 championship squad, yet still made the All D team.

One of my concerns with Castle is that his D is actually being overrated. He played for a Connecticut team that was great defensively, and all of his defensive impact stats put him 5th among starters, with Clingan and Spencer leading the way by a good margin, and even Karaban and Newton rating out...

I'd prefer to make it an unprotected Worst-Of as opposed to a Top-7 protected Best Of, if you really wanted to move up for Castle. You probably want to be on being a playoff team by then, and you'll have a roster full of recent draft picks from 2024-26, so you may not really want 2 in 2027 (not to...

If you believe my Trade Value Chart (which one may or may not), then the difference between #5 and #8 is 500 points, which also happens to be the value of a Year+3 (2027) pick in the 11-20 range (which is probably a fair estimate for a Top 7 protected pick). So in theory, by my chart, the Vec trade...

It's that damn Cuban, we were fine and dandy till he showed up. It ain't been the same since and it never will be like it was, Deads. He put the stopper in our bottle (we won that last back-to-back and he then took a rubber mallet and hammered that stopper down lock tight.) We had it all. A...

Supposedly, Mitchell does NOT want him there. I don’t think he’ll sign the extension they want him to until Garland is gone.

Sochan, no. The future pick, depends. If you really want to secure a guy you have great faith in, then sure. A top five player in this draft may very well be better than the number 10 player in 2027. In fact, I'd say probably. Like with the Atlanta trade, they wound up picking Cam Reddish. Yeesh. ...

I’m still really high on Dilly, kid came off the bench averaging like 23 mins a game and still put up 15ppg, 4ast, on 44% from 3 as a freshman. Him or carter gotta be the pick at #8 Imo.

If Garland is unavailable, then Mitchell is gone. Now that trade becomes interesting. Mitchell looks like he wants to play in a big market, but Cavs won't let him go for nothing. Lakers and Heat best offers are pathetic, Nets could do it with their wings and Phoenix picks, but if Mitchell...

My bad. Maybe I read it wrong, but it felt like you were implying cause Rice had better 'feel/court awareness/court mapping' (at the time) - which he should since he's a 4 - year college player - that he was the better prospect. That might not have been what you intended, but I notice a lot...

He will always be bad at d just with his size alone. That fact that he doesnt care to try to plaY d will hurt him as well.Your taking a gamble that he will be great with scoring and playmaking and help him elevate wemby.Taking him with castle would be smart imo as well.

He actually never said that. The second part of the sentence is true, though. My take is that he doesn’t want to go somewhere with a heliocentric PG, and he never touches the ball. The school he picked was the ultimate share the ball offense, even though he could have picked any school with his...
