I'd love to, and grab Tyler Smith. Immediately slots in to backup PF, with starter potential down the line.

Trading up to #1 seemed like KOC wishcasting before... but now Stein is saying maybe there is some truth to it. Honestly I hope now. 1804571823889432670

"Further down the draft, the Suns are a strong candidate to trade down from No. 22. The goal for the Suns, Fischer reports, would be to accumulate future second round picks while moving down in the first in order to restock their draft capital for trade flexibility. Additionally, adding several...

I'm not nearly as down on Salaun as many here. I think the upside is intriguing. I've got him #8 on my board, but there are a couple guys behind him (on my board) I expect to go higher, so in that scenario he wouldn't be my choice unless we traded back from 8. I just think our timeline isn't as...

Reed is the one guy I would actually want SA to trade up for. Ive been on Reed to Spurs as my best case for a while now personally.

Im hoping SA can use Graham in a trade to be honest and make use of that contract vs having to eat that 2M (even though its not a big deal at all)

Exactly. Spurs should just draft best players they can. Whether that is Guard, Guard, or Guard, Forward or Forward, Forward etc….all those combos make sense and then you approach FA/Trades to fill in your needs based on your draft.

I have to say, this is something I think about too. Every player that leaves the Spurs seems to improve their shooting (Dejounte, Derrick White, etc) while the Spurs own prospects seem mostly stagnant. Plenty of teams have had huge success helping their guys improve their shooting (Chicago, New...

Salaun at 8 is a virtual lock if either Sheppard or Castle are the pick at 4.

Do either Sheppard or Castle really have to learn to play PG? I mean it would significantly improve their long-term upside if they did, but both can still be incredibly valuable as connectors and secondary playmakers. I'm not sure either ends up as a primary on-the-ball guy, so for me it comes down...

...Indeed, that's the best Trump could do at this moment in this broad-band blooded feud, other than take the proverbial AK-47 to town and blast hair all over the walls. He chose wisely.

That ankle injury looks suspicious especially when you consider that Salaün's agent is the same as Wembanyama and the same as Batum... I'm not a fan of Salaün. He has a poor feel for the game which is a red flag for me. Saying that, you have to be nuanced when judging prospects: Salaün has some...

Draft Castle and Knect. Hold on to the Atlanta picks. I won't rehash Trae Young deals here, except to say I'm not opposed, but really not in favor either. If the ATL cache of picks were to be dealt, I'd rather go after Cade Cunningham. Imagine a backcourt rotation of Cade, Castle, and Vassell...

Cade has some warts in his game but I'd be perfectly fine giving up whatever it took in draft capital to get him, instantly max him (it's a rookie level max with the cap starting to increase around 8 to 10% a year starting next off season). 6 "8" guard who can handle, pass, and is a improved 3...

I truly think people are just totally overthinking it with Sheppard. It’s even more puzzling considering this team’s needs…he just so perfectly fits what we’re missing. Clear #1 target IMO and if we manage to land him I’ll be thrilled.

Just read ESPN is calling Sarr to the Wizards and ATL will decide between Risacher and Clingan. If they choose Clingan, and Houston goes Reed, we draft Risacher and whoever is left of Dilly and Knecht. I wouldn't be opposed to trading up for Castle, either, and with Risacher wearing a Spurs...

It really depends on the contract numbers/years. People underrate Harris at this point because he was overpaid in Philly. But Harris is definitely the more valuable player at this point in their respective careers.

...and hung a FELONY conviction on his son. Trump did that. What they thought they'd do by haranguing over a 100 (and counting) indictments on that old man was get him to crawlin' either to them, or, away from them and into the fetal position. Uh, uh. He studied as to (what they wanted,...

I don’t think he sucks. I think getting him with a top 7 pick is a waste and would set the team back years. They won’t have many opportunities like this year to pick this high. Use the pick on someone with a greater upside.
