Honestly, I like it if true. Doesn't hurt to see what options are available out there, for sure I'd rather get a good player who fits rather than using it on Salaun.
They’re not a playoff team, as is, and why would they NOT tank with this upcoming draft? They would also only “miss out on the 2025 draft” if their pick is 15th or worse, the only scenario where it would convey to us. The only way they miss out on the choice picks at the top is if they don’t tank.
I dont know that they are tanking with LaMelo + Miller looking great + possibly brining back Bridges for the full season vs just a fraction of it like last year + having 6th pick.
Especially if what you are saying is true and Castle is “perfect” fit, then wouldn’t that just bolster their...
What? OKC turned a guy who couldn't be played in the playoffs and needed to be paid into one of the better role players in the league. Caruso is nothing like Gordon Hayward, who is clearly washed and has character issues, it's baffling how this could be spined into a negative for OKC. Spurs should...
...that wallowing in misery is part of the journey; the exasperation, the bitterness that the lion's share of the time finally leads to victory. Without it, without that denial and misery you don't know. You have no idea.
Castle and Carter in the back court actually works. Carter needs to play next to a tall point, assuming Castle works as a PG. Carter could play as shooting guard on offense and defend point guards on defense. Or they share point guard duties. Anyway. Could be a symbiotic relationship.
If the Spurs have Risacher and Castle both on the board at 4 the only way to get both is taking Risacher 4 and trading up with Detroit to take Castle 5. Hopefully the Pistons would take Keldon and 8, would be way less dumb than paying Monty $65 million to sit at home.
It's an enormous stretch to see them leapfrog one of Boston, Milwaukee, New York, Indiana, Philly, Orlando, Cleveland, or Miami, especially in a year they'll almost certainly tank with very high end talent in the top 4. That pick has always been a fake first.
I love how obsessed y'all are. Everytime, the usual losers come out of the basement to pick each other's noses. I mean, people who don't even post at all, suddenly come in to fart and wheeze. It's pretty adorable, tbh.
If the 2025 draft is so important moving back 2 spots to guarantee you do not miss that draft seems easily justified
You have to think castle is so much better than who is at 8 that you’re willing to punt 2025 draft
Patrick Williams is a disappointment in terms of the unfair expectations placed upon him. He's not a star, but he's a 22 y.o. combo forward with good size (6'7", 6'11" wingspan) who fits the 3&D mold perfectly well (career 41% from 3). He's probably a 4th/5th option on a good team and there are...
No getting their two seconds back doesn't sound enticing enough for them to give up the guy who is an almost perfect fit for their roster. I don't know why everyone thinks Charlotte is just going to gift the Spurs two slots and the guy they'd likely want for a couple of seconds.
