Alfredrick Hughes (born July 19, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois), is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the 1st round (14th overall) in the 1985 NBA Draft. A 6'5" shooting guard from Loyola University Chicago, Hughes played in only one NBA season. He played for the Spurs during the 1985-86 NBA season, appearing in 68 games and averaging 5.2 ppg. He made the All-Global Basketball Association team with the Louisville Shooters in the 1991-1992 season.

Hill is Hughes, how and why?

Please don't let it be because you think so or because you needed another reason to repost that shitty proverb.

More like Corey Alexander.

But I do agree, Chalmers seemed like the better pick.

Moments before the draft:

RC: Well, should we go with Chalmers afterall?
Pop: Are you freakin' kidding me?! What have we talked about?! How many times do I have to retell you the story of ALFREDRICK HUGHES?!

George Hill is George Hill. Anything else, is ignorant rubbish.

Yeah, Karl Malone was selected at #13 by Utah just before Bob Bass took Hughes at #14. Joe Dumars, AC Green and Terry Porter were still available. Wizards fans should feel worse. They selected Kenny Green at #12 that year. Green played in 60 NBA games...while Hughes played in 65.

Man who? Mr George Hill don't read these kind of rubbish. Mr. Hill will average 30pts, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals and 3 blocks per game. Mr Hill is an all star all MVP all HOF.

Yall do realize this guy was recruited by other MAJOR D-1 programs but went to IUPUI to stay close to home. Yall should also realize that if you are a good player, it doesnt matter where the hell you went to college to play. The NBA will find you. Look at Joe Dumars......he went to McNeese State. He sucked in the NBA didnt he?? :rolleyes

spurster, your so-called self-annointed "basketball expertise" is most assuredly lacking, otherwise it is purely a joke. For George Hill > Tinsley. George Hill believes a mathematical lesson on the matter of inequalities is in order.
