Anyone heard of it? Anyone been there?

It is new- is loacted on in the Village at Stone Oak.

I just met one of the managers there. He said they are hiring, so if any of you are looking to work in a restaurant...

The place sounds really fun. Their specialty is pizza. They show sports there and they also brew their own beer.

Might be a fun place to have a gtg this summer or next fall during Spurs season. :)

My best friend's dad is the CEO of that corporation. Alas, despite the connection, I've only ever been to the one in Austin. I'm interested to try the new place here.

Is that you using reverse psychology because you are secretly dying to take me to that restaurant but also want to convince me that I was the one hoping to go?

Baby, you know Frank is my middle name. :)

Good enough for me. I don't like beer, anyway.

BJ's is an awesome place. They serve Chicago style pizza, and it's excellent. Their stout and pale ale are very good. They also have something on the menu called a Seven taster, where you get 7 7oz glasses of different beers they brew (hefeweisen, blonde, stout, porter, pale ale, red, and usually something seasonal) for like $8.

I have a friend who worked at the one in Westwood (by UCLA), and made very good money in tips.

meh, the pizza is only OK and pales compared to true Chicago pizza. Brews are decent. Other food is quite good and it's a lively place to go.

Pizza is good and best buffalo wings. Great happy hour specials. Their Red draft beer is awesome, I always hit it up when I go to LA. Cool, didn't know we had one here.

They have one down the street from where I live in Tucson and their pizza is fucking awesome. They also have pretty good burgers and excellent pastas, MAKE SURE YOU TRY THEIR BUFFALO SAUCE! I always get like 5 of the containers of it and leave it in my fridge to eat with everything the following weeks lol

Tonight I had dinner at the BJ's Brewhouse in Temple. I had 2 very good (but very processed) "Brewhouse Blondes", half of a spinach-artichoke deep dish pizza which was very good and almost too artichoke-y! Then I had a White Chocolate-Macadamia nut "Pizookie"; the vanilla bean ice cream was to die for! I liked the place and I'll probably make plenty of visits to the new Stone Oak location. :)

BJ's is going to make a great addition to the San Antonio beer scene, although despite what the OP stated, they DO NOT make their own beer in Texas. All Texas locations contract their brewing out to St. Arnolds out of Houston. They are BJ's own recipes, they just aren't brewed on site by BJ's staff.

True. They only brew root beer on site.
