Don't really know much about him.
Have to wait and see what he does in summer league to have an opinion on him.

The Spurs seem to have gotten the all-wingspan team in this year's draft, so he's got the length. The real question is if he can play SF if he balloons back up once he has a contract.

In real life, Bowen is like 6-5. I've stood next to him.

I think he's a projected pro 2 guard. Doesn't have a sf game. And at 2, his size is terrific. Mildly optimistic. Like everyone else, I still think Walker and Hendrix were better picks.

Yeah, I met Bowen and stood next to him. Either I grew a few inches or he isn't really 6-7. I don't think it's the height that matters, as long as they have long arms, and Hairston has some longass arms.

Udoka is 6'5 and plays SF, but can compete because of his bulk. Similarly, Hairston is a very strong player, which leads you to believe he could defend SF.

He says he was planning to work out in San Antonio. Does anybody know how that workout went?

He's not 6-6, he's 6-4 1/4. He won't be playing any SF.

Just a little history on Hairston since I live in oregon? hmmm well when he came to the ducks he was one of the biggest H.S. recruits in the country. There was talk about him trying to go straight into the pros at that time and to be honest over the past few seasons everyone around Oregon would say that his NBA stock has really dropped over the past few years. He's a strong player who has a nice midrange jumper. When you watch him he comes off as being discievingly slow. He has a lot of confidence and on a team with good coaching and leadership I think he can really step up his game. Unfortunately I think the coach he had in oregon is better at getting recruits than he is at actually coaching... hence Hairstons somewhat sluggish time in Eugene.
