Just wanted to get a feel for who's winning the platform wars with the Spurs faithful. What're you running?

Vista Ultimate.

I like how Microsoft has already busted out the Ultimate title. What are they going to call it if they release another version?

Uber-Vista?

1. OSX 10.5
2. Windows XP (Boot Camp, I only use it for games and 3D apps, so Parallels and/or VMware doesn't really help me there)

At home:
- Windows XP Pro SP3
- iPod Touch 8GB model

At work:
- MacOS X 10.5 w/Vista Utimate under VMWare
- Windows XP Pro SP3
- Various flavors of Linux (Centos 4, 5)
- FreeBSD 5

I'm thinking of moving the home box to Mac at some point, I just don't use it enough these days to justify it.

Nice, I rock my iPod Touch (16) all the time too. It's nice bein' able to tap into WiFi anytime. Fuck a whole bunch of iPhone bills.

I'm probably gonna try to Boot Camp my iMac today, but I'm not sure if it's gonna take to my ripped version of XP.

Success! :smokin Posting from the new Windows side now.

I can't go back and change my answer. Guess I'll just have to rep the OS X.

I doubt I'll be finding myself in my Windows partition very often anyways.

Vista Ultimate. Used to dual-boat with Ubuntu when I needed PERL programming.

FWIW, coLinux is actually really nice for that kind of stuff. And you can run multiple Linux flavors basically native from Windows.

What made you select Fedora over other Linux distros? I tried it last year, but hated the mplayer and amarok builds livna provided.

I've hung around with Redhat/Fedora since Redhat 4.2. Despite off and on flakiness, I have some loyalty to Redhat because they have done a lot for open source/free software. It's true that dealing with anything outside of their legal boundaries (such as mplayer) can be painful. I am tempted to go to Ubuntu.
