Lot of fans think he's worth about 2 million but I think he's worth the full MLE. Lakers think he's a good compliment to their front line. If you stretched his playing time out to 40 minutes, he'd be averaging 19.1 ppg and 11.3 RPG. Bear in mind that they don't really run any plays for him either as a rookie. He's been putting up these numbers cleaning up the boards.

Ladnry can't make more than Cardinal. Cardinal is making $6.3 million next season. The MLE probably won't even be that much for next season. Using an extremely overpaid role player as the standard for Landry's negotiations does not make sense. Cardinal makes way more than a lot of players that are better than him.

the minimum. He's over-rated. He undersized. He hasnt proven to have an outside shot.

yeah that would not be good either. Had the Spurs brought Scola over and had Duncan at Center and Scola at PF with Bowen at SF with Parker and Ginobili at guards they probably would have won it all. But oh well.
