What are some of the worst gaming consoles you've ever played?

The Sega Nomad was a surprising failure. I always thought a handheld Genesis would have novelty value, if nothing else, but that thing tanked quick once the 32-bit systems hit the market.

Sweet a remote control grill.

:lmao

I had a Virtual Boy that I bought on clearance from Target for 20 bucks. You KNOW they went to crap if Target was willing to let it go that cheap.

I liked Red Alert and Mario Tennis, but 15-fucking minutes would give you a headache.

The Angry Video Game Nerd sums it up better than I care to attempt to.

I don't know what the VB was all about. Was it just a normal system that had it's own monitor or some shit?

Virtual Boy wasn't so horrible. It was real 3-D, something never done before.

Sega CD was a steaming pile of waste.

Watch that video, and you will understand the technological horror that was the Virtual Boy.

I can't believe how big a piece of shit the Apple Pippin was. What did this thing cost? $6000 or so? Probably the worst console ever.

The worst name too.

Virtual Boy, Sega 32x and Sega Saturn....I don't have many complaints for the Sega CD I still play some of the games to this day, Night Trap, Double Switch, and Rise of The Dragon...I'm not saying they were the best games but at least there were more than 15...or how ever many Virtual Boy had

The Virtual Boy got s-canned because it was giving little kids seizures. Hell, even their commercials looked like they could induce seizures:

Well not only that but it looked like pure shit...virtual reality back then was a big deal, and you expect a little more then red and black...especially with the wire graphics (I don't know the proper term)...If you've seen any games played its hard to tell sometimes what to do...For example, I saw a shooter being played on it and you couldn't tell what was a wall and what was the background so people would get stuck

Virtual Boy, Sega 32x and Sega Saturn....

I agree 32X and Virtual Boy were just crap but the Saturn had some pretty good games back in the days: Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter...

What the hell were they thinking? Not only was the device cumbersome but after playing it for a few minutes you got a migraine and risked having a seizure.

WTF happened to "The Phantom," some system they were suppose to release like 5 years ago?

While we're on the subject, the Dreamcast is one of the best, and IS the most underrated gaming console of all-time.

QFT.

And GameGear was pretty damn good too, ignoring the shitty battery life.

Dreamcast was quite nice. NBA2K on that was absolute MONEY.

My worst gaming system would have to be SegaCD, which IMO, didn't work very good ONE BIT. The frames were grainy, the video would skip VERY easily.

Mad Dog Mcree on that system was so under utilized.

Turbo grafix 16 was the biggest bust of all time.

Dreamcast had some good games that were unique to it like Sonic Adventure and Soul Caliber, but aside from that, it was a massive disappointment of a system.

I remember when the 128-bit craze hit, and I dropped my 400 bucks on the Dreamcast thinking it would be the winner of the bunch. Then XBox and Playstation completely dominated the market, my Dreamcast ended up in my closet, and I wound up buying both of the latter mentioned.

I really wish Nintendo hadn't gone off the deep end. Considering I was raised on Mario and Zelda, it kinda makes me sad to think the only console I have now, and really need, is my 360.
