I doubt that they'll start talking tomorrow. More than likely agents and teams have already had 'unofficial talks' since the playoffs ended.

Wow for some reason that seems sooner than normal.

I can remember it going as long as the 15th before it started.

The date moves up each year. It was Aug 1 in 2005 (plus there was that weird delay that moved it even further). It was around July 12th in 06, July 11th in 07, now this year it's the 9th. For the next three years it will be the 8th .... then it's time for a new CBA.
