View Full Version : Rockets making a run at Sasha.....

The Houston Rockets are set to offer restricted free agent guard Sasha Vujacic a five-year contract that could be worth around US$30-million, according to an insider report Monday. The Lakers will have 1 week to match the offer once Vujacic signs the offer sheet.

I knew some team would be dumb enough to do this and throw boatloads of cash at Sasha. He's out of here, no way does Mitch match that.

The Lakers have made him a qualifying offer and say they want to keep him.

"As restricted free agents, Vujacic and Turiaf may sign an offer sheet with any team, but the Lakers would have the right to match any offer."

And the Rockets made an offer...according to the thread creator (no source though).

I know how it works, I was just posting where the Lakers say they stand on him. :)

No way does Morey do this. Rockets only have about 6 milllion to stay under the cap. The only way to get Sasha is to do a sign and trade and why the hell would we do that with the Western Conference Champions? Sasha doesn't bring anything to the table except funny I am machine videos.

:lol:downspin:

If you believe such craps is your problem. Sasha is not even worthy of play for team like PAO. In his dreams maybe he is. How can any NBA fan believe he is good player? Is this joke 30 million for him?

Is Luther Head also get such contract? Please do not make me laugh at such crap players be consider worthy in NBA. Some very crazy managers there.

It may or may not be crap......Sasha does fit in with Rick Adelman's offense and defense.....

And the Rockets have 3 other capable PFs on the roster.....so....it does make some sense.

Good offensive guy. Shitty D, though. I would say good move if he goes to the Rockets.

Did he go to the Steve Nash school of D? The part he messed up is Steve doesn't pretend he can play D... The only place sasha can survive is on a team with a superstar.

Yeah, shooters do not fit in with big men and dynamic two guards. Why would you need space relief with these type of players? You are absolutely right.

Not sure what point you are making here, I said that the offer makes sense, I do agree about shooters creating spacing for bigger players.

Maybe you need some reading comprehension classes.
