They are discussing the Lakers coaching vacancy on the SCSR.

and they put up a list of possible coaches.

Phil Jackson

Micahel Cooper

Larry Brown

Nate McMillen.

When Jack was asked, what coach do you not see there that you think shoudl be there???

"Bob Hill, a great offensive AND defensive coach. IMO was run out of san antonio unfairly by Gregg Popovich, and I think he would be a great fit"

Yeah Jack, bring in Bob Hill.

Actually, Hill would probably be the best fit for LA. He makes Rudy T look like a defensive maniac. Kobe would love him. Plus, Hill can dress for LA.

Jack Haley made a comment today on the SCSR after the game today regarding Rudy. He was talking about how they should stick with Frank Hanblem because he's done a wonderful job. Then he said something about the 4 games before Rudy T is fired, the Lakers gave up 100+ points.

Im not sure what the hell is going on out here now. But as soon as Jack said that Mike and Caroyln looked like they were gona throw up and were in shock. I think Jack may have slipped.

Bob Hill deserves another chance.

Wasn't hill fired from his college coaching job after 1 year when he left the spurs?

He coached at Fordham for 4 years and left with 6 years remaining on his 10 year contract, after the worst men's basketball season in history at Fordham (won 2 games). Recruiting may not be his forte.

Recruiting may not be his forte.you can add defense to the many things that are not Hills forte. Since Hill has been "unfairly" let go the Spurs have only had the best record in pro basketball in the last 7 years. Bad move Pop dam you :lol
