Sean really had to put some air under that one, didn't he? Nice presence of mind to dribble once to keep rhythm and keep from travelling.
I had forgotten that the late Bill Musselman (Eric's dad) was on the Portland coaching staff. He's in the Damon Stoudamire reaction clip.

I was in Thailand or Australia when that game was played and have never seen the whole thing.
Wish I could.

It's also a testimony to the importance of squaring up.

For anyone looking for the call. Here's a sight with a few wmv files from that year scroll down and Sean's is there.

When that shot happened I was moving into a house, we had no cable so I rigged something from the broken tv antenna. Did I mention the TV was on the floor? I wasn't near any girls, it was just me, my family, and the moving guys. :depressed

Dome, upper deck, row 1
I only missed around 4 games that year. Granted, it was a shortened season but I didn't have season tickets. I used to win tickets on 760 literally once a week (I bought the rest). I am one of the reasons they instituted the "you can only win once per season" and now "once every two months" rule. :fro
Slayer is one of the few guys that I'd go gay for.

Still remember the MDM. We were at a friends house. She FINALLY got her infant son to sleep after a day of having him cry and be very cranky. I had the game on (I was the only one that cared) and when Sean made that shot I started screaming and jumping up and down. Course the baby woke up. The mom wasnt too happy, but I was pumped (bout the shot, not wakin up the baby)! I will never forget that shot. Tip-toeing the line, over Sheed!!
Member it like it was yesterday.
