Is it a rental or a buy?

If you like games where you empty a clip into an adversary at close range and they don't die but you do, then this is the game for you.

Fuck this game i regret buying it.

If you have your systems hook up online PS3 and Xbox then they both have demos of the game you can download, I'm sure there is a pc demo also.

I did not like it at all, online came off as a very poor mans Call of Duty 4, BUT all my Xbox friend been playing it like crazy and call me nuts for not liking it.

Okay after playing for a few more days and having a bit more understanding of the game its growing on me, still no C.O.D.4 much slower paced and much larger maps, but it is fun on the right server.

You can actually drive tanks, humvees, armored personnel carriers, gunboats and helicopters which is cool.

sniping is fun, and you can paint a target like a tank with a laser designator then steer the missile into with an onboard missile cam pretty cool feature.

My only problem is when i run into someone and empty a clip into them and they dont fucking die then i die. Could be more players, if pc games can have 64 players up to 128 players why cant these "next gen" consoles?

Played the demo, wasn't really a fan; didn't enjoy BF 1942 as much as I thought I would and same goes for this game. My friends, however, play this game like crazy.

After playing the demo I thought it was decent but I think its something I can buy either when it becomes cheap or when my friends start playing it like crazy. It's decent but not a stellar achievement.

EA's games have been poor. The only reason BF1942 was good was because Trauma Studios made the excellent Desert Combat mod.

My brother bought it and lent it to me for the day, and I beat it in a day. It was kinda of boring after a few missions.

Tells me where to go and what need to be done, a mark appears on the map go there kill persons or destroy machinery

repeat.

where the game shines is multiplayer, single player for this game was just a filler, read all of the reviews, the multiplayer is much better. bf games have always been about the multiplayer.

You played at Gamestop which obviously was the single player as they never demo online games, so you have not seen the online this game pwns online.

I did play online, I did the demo for about a hour and then again another hour when my brother lent it to me, and both times I turn it off and put Call of Duty on. I just couldn't get into Battlefield online.
