Spurs have interest in Roger Mason Jr

I exchanged a few text messages with Roger Mason Jr. just as he was getting on a plane to visit an interested team this afternoon. The Wizards hope to bring Mason back, but he is also entertaining inquiries from seven other teams, including the New Jersey Nets and San Antonio Spurs. Mason implied his agent didn't want him to say what team he was visiting, and when reached a short time later, Mark Bartelstein said the team didn't want word to get out yet that Mason was visiting. It would be cool if they signed him. When he was a rookie for Toronto, I saw him play in Denver against the Nuggets. I was there early for the game and got his autograph as well as several other players, but he also gave me his arm band that reads "Mase Jr." or something like that.
