Those are the words of Tyronn Lue, confirming what some have speculated all along: the reason that no role players wanted to come to the Suns was...Mike D'Antoni.


"I feel really good about the Suns," Lue said. "I want to go to a winning team and a good organization. They have both those things. I'd love to play with Nash and with Shaq (O'Neal) again. Hopefully we can work something out."

Lue considered the Suns in March, when the Sacramento waived him, but chose Dallas.

"I wanted to go to Phoenix, but I knew (former coach Mike) D'Antoni only played seven people in his rotation," Lue said. "With (new coach) Terry Porter there and Nash needing more rest, it'd be a great place for me."

So the Clippers gave up on Elton Brand? In order to re-sign Brand and get Davis they had to renounce Maggette's rights, thus making it impossible to do a sign-and-trade.

I'm pretty sure the Clips didn't head into the offseason trying to get rid of Elton and getting Baron and Barbosa.

Duh, Sarver is obviously throwing in the next 12 first round picks and Elton is taking the Warriors' offer.
