Denver's potential deal for the Bulls' Kirk Hinrich could mean Marcus Camby is heading to Chicago.

:lol I'm really clutching at straws here. I'm just hoping this deal gets done at some point.

and the west could possibly get even stronger.

it's just ridiculous now.

This would make denver even more pathetic at defensive end, and the iverson + heinrich backcourt is extremely small. Bad trade for denver.

Man I hate Hinrich for some reason. Posey's bodycheck on him a couple of years back filled me with glee.

please tell me you are kidding. Hinrich is an above average defender and 6'3...... it would be a heck of alot better than Carter/Ai or Atkins/AI......... After one season it would be a Hinrich/JR backcourt.....

He is a great fit for Denver

Who plays defense on the team besides AI and camby? nobody. Proved year after year, defense wins championships.

AI doesnt play D. He just reaches for steals.

Hinrich would help cover up the backcourt deficiency. The frontcourt is fine with Kmart/Nene (if healthy). Camby is overrated at defense. He is great at help but a poor man on man defender

Ask D-Wade about how terrible Hein is at the defensive end.

As I said before, I actually like the idea of Hinrich and Iverson in Denver's backcourt.

The most successful lineup Iverson ever had paired him with a gritty PG who could somewhat decently cover opposing SGs while letting Iverson play SG-PG on offense and defense.

And nowadays, Hinrich is probably the closest to 2000-2001 Eric Snow as you're going to get.

Wrong, he has body checked Kirk Hinrich in the 2006 first round playoffs, kirk hinrich then charged at him but was being held back by his teammates. The guy youre talking about is Tyrus Thomas and Luol Deng who he hit 2 times each.

Pat Riley was quoted saying Kirk Hinrich is in the top 3 best defensive Point Guard in the Game....

trade the one player who plays Defense?

Nuggets might allow 110 points next year

Denver will continue to under-perform as long as Carmelo is on the team. Heinrich ain't gonna help.

Why do you turds keep talking about him and his defense...morons-we're talking about someone who made the All-Defensive 2nd team in 07. Seriously, like YOU could get past him. :rolleyes

-just because he's white doesn't make him a bad defender.

No what makes him a bad defender is hes, a bad defender.

His skin color has nothing to do with it.

No Camby in Denver? Did I miss something? Did D'Antoni move to Denver or something?

Denver's D is going to look like swiss cheese :lol

my question is who do the nuggets play at center when they trade camby? steven hunter? nene? kenyon martin? they're going to be undermanned & undersized in the frontcourt with this, do they have plans to acquire a center? i would have said that the nuggets should have pursued diop, but considering that they would have to throw the entire mle at him, thank goodness they didn't.

Didn't even read the facts did you little girl...oh----------wait, you know more than the voters, yah->that's it.

Kid's no Kidd but stays in front of his player and snatches away steals with the best of them. I'd love to hear who you think IS a good defender at PG :rolleyes

That's what I thought.

Agreed, Pat Riley was quoted as saying Kirk Hinrich is Top 3 if not the best defensive Point Guard in the NBA.
