If CM does indeed end up with the champs (spurs) what will be his role and what will his stats look like?

I'm thinking he replaces finley as our shooting guard.

Mins: 30
Points: 15
rebounds: 5
assists: 2

Maggette will never be a spur, spurs are too sucky too attract a mega star like Corey Maggette.

Isn't all this putting the cart before the proverbial horse?

51 minutes per game (he'll play some minutes at 2 positions -- at the same time)
17.7 FG/gm
18.2 FGA/gm
31.4 FT/gm
31.5 FTA/gm
13.8 REB/gm (all offensive)
67.1 PTS/gm (adding in a few garbage time 3 pointers just to prove he's an all-around badass)

Edit: Forgot to address the role question -- I think his role will be some combination of Charles Foster Kane and Lt. Col. Kilgore.

Points: 6
rebounds: 4
assists: .2

for MATT BONNER :lol Wake up. Maggette is not coming to SA!!!

I haven't had a chance to see Maggette play extensively over the past couple years, so I'm hoping people who know his game can answer this question for me:

What kind of defense would we expect from him, assuming he takes Finley's role in the starting lineup? Comparable to Finley or Barry? Or even better?

his problem was never "not able to defend", his problem was "not playing defense"

i would say hes an upgrade from finley cause of his size and strength. i would think his only negative is his short arms.

Another interest for Corey to choose the spurs is that none of the big 3 would mind taking less shots or having less points, during the RS anyway. he would have the space to shine.

I 'm not sure that would be the case in Boston or in Golden state with SJax, Ellis and the FA they're gonna sign.
