That is like saying is Bush responsible for 9/11.

Nbadan

:lol ........Mouse cracks me up...

I think RG is a good forum poster but his tendency to compare 9/11 truthers to a cult is denigratory, especially to the 911 families and the 911 heroes who are dying at a alarming rate from exposure to hazardous debris which they were reassured was safe...

Dan's good when he isn't constructing strawmen like in the above post.

Are or are not the 9/11 families leading the fight for a new investigation?

I would vote Extra Stout, Random Guy, NBA Dan in that order. My reasoning is that the best political thinkers are primarily analytical thinkers that are willing to move beyond ideology on some level-- NBA Dan lead the way to a balanced forum and a lively political discussion here, but he suffers from the same fault i do-- we're both a little too ideologically driven

That being said Extra Stout also has the uncanny ability to be the most pretentious poster on this forum-- but hey its an internet political forum, what can you expect eh?

From the right, there are a few that I like.

From the center, Extra Stout by a mile. Is there a topic this guy can't talk about intelligently?

From the Left, FWDT by a mile. He actually reads and gives logical responses. I don't agree with him most of the time, but have mad respect for this guy.

It's mainly the guys selling t-shirts and DVDs and you -- none of which are particularly serious about the issue.

I have seen a few family members talk about a new investigation, but they had completely drunk the kool-aid mixed by the above mentioned hucksters. While I feel for their loss, I hardly see them as representative of all the tens of thousands of family members who aren't calling for a new investigation.

I'd argue FWDT is more conservative than a lot of posters on here. I do see him as from the left at all. He is my favorite poster in this forum followed by Scott, however.

you do see him or don't see him as from the left? Make no doubts about it, FWDT is a lefty, but ego may make him believe he's mainstream. btw, anyone compared to NBADan, Boutons and RG would be considered conservative.

Extra is by far the best poster in here. He has his bad moments, but overall the man knows what he is talking about in just about everything. Its weird. FromWayDownTown is second IMO. Other than that, I'm not sure.

I disagree with almost everything Nbadan posts, but I'd be damned if this place wouldn't be a graveyard without the man.

Props to everyone who posts in this forum and props to TimVP and Kori for letting us leech valuable bandwidth ...I think the most important aspect about this forum is that you have someone to share with and release some steam....that's ultimately the most important part of any community forum....

Thanks to the couple of people who dared to type my name :)

FWDT has historically been and remains my favorite Political Forum poster. Where are Travis and LittleGeneral? They are some of my past favorites as well.

Speaking of the company that doesn't know how to put out cease and desist orders...

My girlfriend and I had been dating for over 5 year, and so we decided to get married.

There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister who just graduated from UTSA and got a job at USA_

My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, and had a good-girl bad girl personality...at work she was very conservative but at home she wore very tight miniskirts with no underwear, and was more than occasionally bra-less.

She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day her "little" sister called and asked me to come over to check out some pics of her and her sister when they were younger so that I could put them in a surprise wedding video I was putting together for my bride to be....

She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word.

She said, "I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me."

I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs.

I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door.

I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car. Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family."

And the moral of this story is:

Always keep your condoms in the car..... :downspin:
