There was just no way we were gonna get Maggette.
Hopefully we can see how solid of a Plan B the Spurs FO has.

Um mind showing us anything that the Spurs failed to do this summer besides not getting Corey?
The only things they have tried to accomplish in the last few months is draft George Hill. They got that one done.

With an aging, decrepit bench, they better have a plan.
RC will now actuallyl have to crawl out of the tanning salon, throw down the teeth whitening strips and play GM for once, and come through. Well RC?

:wtf
The Spurs went after a free agent worth more than what they had to offer on the off chance that he was squeezed out of of signing for more. Spurs fans want them to be aggressive and get free agents they aren't supposed to get. Well, they chased that.

Come on, do you really think the Spurs were expecting Maggette to be a free agent this summer? All this means is we're back to plan A for the Spurs now, time to see what RC and Pop got.

Never said Maggette was Plan A. Just saying with the way our season ended and the state of our roster, they better have a plan. Maggette was a unique situation no one anticipated, so I'm not holding the front office accountable at all.
But they better have a strategy to improve, utilizing this MLE dough. Let's see what they got....again, RC, time to earn your paycheck...breaks over.

i agree, 5 year 50 mill is a great contract for maggette. as for the warrior fans and organization, i feel sorry for them, such poor management i really dont get how these people get these jobs.
