Another pre-Olympic friendly.
Argentina without Delfino, Manu, Oberto and Leandro Gutierrez

if only the spurs had an argentine big man that could be a big time scorer for the spurs. imagine if san antonio had used a draft pick for a guy like that!

They don't display the score, but they make sure the time and temperature are on the screen at all times. :lol

If the broadcast goes stupid and starts showing something else, just reload the URL.

So I take is Scola is dominating?

It seems that people on this forum tried to run Luis down at the start of last season saying he wouldn't be any good. What do you think now? Luis is a freaking good player.

I can't believe the Spurs traded him. He really picked it up at the end of last season.

All I read was Argentina 88 - Mexico 60
Mexico was missing his best players, while Argentina was missing Manu, Delfino, Oberto and Gutierrez. Scola was the star of the game, with 20 points and 9 boards.
Also Nocioni, Prigioni and Quinteros played well for Argentina.
Sorry, that's all I found. There might be more info in the CABB (Argentina basketball confederation) website, but I can't remember the link now.

I can't believe the Spurs traded him.

"traded" is putting it very nicely. it was more like, "gave him away to save some money."

Unfortunately for Mexico, Romel Beck isnt there because he's playing NBA summer league with Cleveland

Trading Scola was the beginning of the decline for this team. It may never recover. Contend for a season or two? Yes, but they'll never get over it in the Duncan era.
