One of them was named Kerry. Don't remember the last name though.

All Pro NFL linebacker Tommy Nobis, out of Jefferson High.

Keith and Kerry Cash???

They both went to Holmes, and played for UT.

not the greatest athlete(s) to come out of SA

The greatest athlete to come out of SA is Josh Davis, he has 3 Olympic gold medals, and 2 silver medals.

I would say McVea or Davis.

Kyle Rote is a name to be mentioned also.

But seriously, I think it's got to be Josh Davis. He so thoroughly dominated the '96 games and was a World Champion in 2000 along with his silvers.

Tommy Nobis is right there, too.

Tommy Nobis ought to be mentioned. He was an absolute stud linebacker for Texas and Atlanta.

One thing that would give me some pause about Josh Davis is the fact that all of his Olympic medals came as part of relay teams. It's still a hell of an accomplishment and I'd probably be inclined to think that he's at the top of the list.

What about James Leija?

And, by the way, Priest Holmes wasn't born in San Antonio, too.

Also, Devin Brown was born in Salt Lake City, not San Antonio.

Tommy Kramer was pretty good (when healthy):
"He was selected to the Pro Bowl following the 1986 season, in which he was the highest rated quarterback in the NFL. Kramer was the first NFL quarterback to throw for over 450 yards in a game twice, and he once threw six touchdowns in a single game versus the Green Bay Packers." - Wikipedia

Don't know if he'd qualifiy since he was born in Llano, but Cecil Smith lived most of his life in San Antonio and later on a ranch near Boerne until his death at 94 this year. Who is Cecil Smith, you ask?

In the 1930's, when polo was a sport of the rich, a Texan named Cecil Smith began a career that made him perhaps the greatest player in the history of a game more than 2,000 years old. On Jan. 21, the one-time polo-pony wrangler died in Boerne, Tex., where he had lived more than 30-years

You are correct sir. The DB for the Giants is Aaron Ross who was born in San Antonio.
