I live near Bandera Road and 1604. I have to be on the north side of Austin by 9:00 AM tomorrow. I was thinking of leaving at 6:30 AM and cutting through Fredricksburg to 290 and then to Austin.

The main reason I want to cut through here is to avoid all of the 1604, I-35 and Austin traffic.

What do you think?

I think thats flat out retarded.

If you erally want to take 290 then go up 281, but going to Fredricksburg is sooooooooooo riduclous.

290 is probably worse than I-35 coming into Austin in the morning. Is 1604 bad at 6:30? Where in Austin do you need to be?

1604 to 35 at 6:30 in the morning should be a cinch. you should hit austin at 8am or before. downtown austin is going to be a disaster, but an hour should do you fine.

Depending on where in N Austin you need to go there's always the new tollway on the E side of town. You could take 35 to Ben White, east on Ben White and then pick up the tollway. It's not the cheapest but I will do anything to avoid I-35 downtown at 8AM.

Traffic is pretty bad from Buda on 35, you could cut across in Creedmore on FM1327 to pick up the south end of the toll road.

you should be able to get to austin by 9am on 35 if you leave at 630, you should be there right around that time.

traffic isnt that bad on 35 going north on monday morning, as long as you beat the rush hour in san antonio.

i think its 7 bucks or less on the tollway.

get on it in san marcos which will take you up i want to say 21, its off exit 205, then hit 183 west until you get the toll road.

again not sure where on north side of austin, but traffic by and large normally isnt that bad on 35 that time of day.

I have a feeling getting to 281 is going to suck too...
