View Full Version : Overstating the Obvious: Kristic > Rasho

Why did we trade away the rights to Kristic again?

I've watched him progress with the Nets and he's already proven more than Darko Milicic and I'd much rather have him than Rasho.

We could afford another starting-quality wingman if we had Kristic instead of Rasho.

Answer: We didn't.

What G-money said. The Spurs were set to draft him, but NJ stepped in a few slots earlier. It wouldn't have mattered if we got him. You'd just diss him as a non-ballah Euro white boy.

As for Milicic, to develop in the league, you at least need some garbage minutes. LB has him so firmly bench bound that his total minutes in a season and a half amount to about 6 -7 games worth.

Classic Ghost Writer thread?

Why did the Spurs trade way that Allen Iverson kid?

Didn't NJ draft him one slot ahead of the Spurs?

Waits... for Ghost to inform everyone I was Buddy Holly or that I reported that the Spurs signed Oakley four years ago or that I'm his father. :smokin :fro

Yes, NJ selected Krstic two picks ahead of the Spurs.

Krstic is very skilled but Rasho could beat him in a baseline to baseline footrace, which ain't sayin' much.

What's wrong with the Spurs front office?!?!

We coulda had Okafor last summer instead of this Beano guy.

And don't get me started on '02. We drafted that John Salmons fella when we could have had any one of Amare, Gooden, or Ming.[/ghost]

You want to be pissed about something in '02? Carlos Boozer went 5 picks into the second round. :(

I believe he held the rights to both Jordan and Shaq before trading them off for Paris and Nicole.

You can't always predict how good a player is going to be by how they did in college.

I'm guessing everybody already knows this, but I'm going to ask anyway. Is it just me, or does this Casper dude have WAY too many posts? LOL Talk about someone who is opinionated, this guy probably has a take on everything from Spurs, to everyone's meal content!! HAHAHAHA

Oops.

Actually after the Spurs missed out on Krstic they moved their 1st rounder in that draft to get Claxton. As well as a second rounder and Mr. Bryant. :depressed

You guys are all talking about wrong guy. Goat writer was talking about Kristic not Krstic. Maybe he should explain us where Kristic is playing this season?

Something told me it was a bad idea to mix that weed with formaldehyde back in college.

Now I remember.

The Spurs wanted to draft him, but NJ snaked him.

Thanks for the memory jog.

What's up with that other dude Coca-Scola?

Scola is playing well this season. In 28 minutes, he's averaging 15.1 pts and 7.3 reb.

What?!?

Are those numbers right, ex?

Kori Ellis

Yes, he's steadily declined throughout the season. At the beginning of December he was averaging around 21ppg.

Oh, you got me. I guess you haven't been totally unaware of what's been going on with this team over the last few years.
