I'm considering getting this done to my house. Just wondering if anyone else has this in their place. Since I need to reinsulate anyway, I've been told this is the way to go. I understand it is a little bit more costly, but it seems to be worth it. Any comments or references? Oh yeah, I reside in san antonio.

It is quite costly. Basically if you have 2X6 walls standard insulation is what they call r-19. With the spray in insulation you get a little more bang for your buck. R-21 I believe. It also gets in around outlets and switch boxes better and around windows and doors better for less air infiltration. Its not a bad idea if you have large heating and cooling costs. Otherwise stick with Fiberglass insulation.
