Well, since Tony Parker and Manu are supposedly superstars, they can carry the team, no problem.

Lakers knock us out of the championship again :depressed

AHF - It didn't look like it bent back very much. They check the stability, and probably keep him out the rest of the game, unless he feels MUCH better. Tim is a quick and over reactor with pain.

Whew, TNT showing tim walking to the locker room

Well let's hope I was prematurely wrong on that one.

It looked bad when it happened, and it doesn't take much to screw up one's knee, especially when you're carrying that much height/weight on it.

NeoConIV

He'll be back. No doubt.

Man, MY knee started hurting looking at that.

At least he was able to walk on his own power. I thought I aso saw him do a little bit of jogging in the tunnel as well.

Silver-lining = more rest for Tim and we (continue) to develop depth.

Isn't Rasho due back next game? Remember what he did last season when Tim was out.

He's walking pretty well. He'll be back in a game or two, if not tonight.

Walks back out. Was nodding his head yes in answer to a question on the bench.

The thing that probably saved the knee was that he was relaxed. The whistle blew probably a second or two before that fucking Laker tried the tip in, and caused the pileup.

ShoogarBear
02-03-2005, 11:27 PM
I would keep him on the bench.

Looks like he hyperextended it. No sense screwing around, I'd wait for an MRI.

I hoped he could be out a few games and we lose them all by 30 points so he would get MVP consideration like Nash.... :pctoss

It didn't look terribly serious if you look at the replay, mainly just looked like a bad hit (much like Manu's thigh,) maybe he'll be back in the 2nd half if not the next game.

Aggie Hoopsfan
02-03-2005, 11:31 PM
The thing is, when you're talking about joints, particularly ones that have already been screwed up in the past, it doesn't take a serious injury.

I'm with 'Sug, I'd sit him the rest of the night and get an MRI.

WHo cares about the MVP?

FUck that!

Let those other get the MVP consideration. We have our eyes on bigger and more important goals.

Aggie Hoopsfan
02-03-2005, 11:37 PM
Screw the MVP.

With Tim's recent hip injury problems, Pop should take the "divine" hint from above, and rest Tim for a while and let him get healthy.
