2 weeks into the FA season and the spurs have added only 1 player. What do you think the spurs will do about Kurt Thomas and Micael Finley? What will they do with the remainder of the MLE and with the LLE?

If only we had access to an agent with connections....

Where does Artest go? If he goes to Dallas (for Howard) then Thomas likely will sign with LA. If Artest goes to LA they will loose Odom and add the Sac. Thomas. soooooo,

Add Artest to LA minus Odom and we keep Thomas
Add Artest to Dallas minus Howard and we lose Thomas
pick your poison

Why would we lose Thomas?

Thomas and 2 free agents, I assume. The other 2 being a swingman and the last big.

Why would we lose Thomas?

If Thomas was not waiting for a possible better offer he would already be signed. The possible better offer that has been discussed is one from LA LA land.

Why would their offer be better than that of the Spurs, who can pay him more?

I think Finley will be back

I think Finley will be back

Hopefully for the minimum and in a L. Hunter-type role, as in more of a mentor/coach for the youngins rather than rotation player.

Not sure what his role will be, that is too early to speculate. I do think the Spurs need him however and it will obviously all depend on the play of Mason, health of Ginobili and if they plan to up Udoka's minutes. With all the new faces, you have to have someone in each position that knows the system, preferably a starter and back-up.

He wants to take less money, apparently.

Because apparently some Spurs fans are stupid.

The Spurs are playing it tight to the vest. It is the risk you take. Can you pay more? Yeah, but will you? The Lakers will if you don't.

I think Finley will be back

I'd hate for it to come to that.

Despite having limited funds remaining, I certainly hope the Spurs will have better luck getting another wing player than Finley.

I like Evans and Barron....Barron looked good in miami last year, and the spurs tried twice to sign Evans a couple years back, he can play 2 or 3 and is an OK shooter great defender.

I think KT and Finley will be resigned. Horry I don't think so. I'd rather have Horry over Bonner though.
