Gist didn't play at all; they rested him. So he will get two days off since they don't play on Sunday. I'm guessing since he looked real tired after playing 5 days in a row and has showen enough to deserve the rest. Cuz Hariston played his 6th straight game; probably has not proved himself to deserve the rest.
they should have rested gist the last game, didnt seem like they needed him against the jazz anyways.

I don't understand Ian.
Whats not to understand he is a bit on the lazy side on D and Pops is gonna wear his ass out early this season. If he doesnt play D well, rebound and block shots he will be in Austin all year again.

Tpark, R.C said "I think Hes being a little too passive trying to make us happy too much, I would like him to play and be more aggressive and make some plays..." that wasn't word for word.. but he basically said .. george was trying too hard to fit into the PG mold role .. he needs to relax play his game and let it come.
all players sometimes tries to hard

Hopefully Bud getting all up in Ian's grill tells him to get his shit together and play out of his fuckin mind, even though it's only SL.

Yeah hopefully but he didn't seem to be responding to it at all. He was just kind of staring straight ahead. I have the feeling that if Ian is ever going to be something in this league, it is going to take Pop yelling his ass off. I hope Pop has some good blood pressure medication because something has to light a fire under Ian's ass or he just won't get much better than Elson.
God I hope Ian puts it together, he has got too much potential to just waste it away as a bit player.

Wow. Yet another depressing summer league game, considering Ian Mahinmi is our main guy and he continues to play like passive, beno-esque, soft, non hustling garbage bust.
Prahps, Ian. Way to show us you are ready to help us in the toughest division in the toughest conference in modern nba history. You wasted bum.

Spurs fans aren't used to rookies joining the team, obviously.

I gotta say I'm pretty dissapointed with Ian's finishing (or lack thereof) around the basket.
This is exactly what will be the sig during the upcoming season for Ian deniers who always realized it was fucking stupid to hope that a french 20 year old we drafted for european reasons would be a useful player in the spurs system.

Maybe they should make a big replica doll of Rasho, and make Ian wear it around his neck for about a week. Just to send the message, "You don't want to end up like this."
