That-F-cking-Sucks
"This past weekend Aleksander Emelianenko was scheduled to face Paul Buentello in heavyweight action during the FSN portion of Affliction: Banned but due to medical complications the fight was cancelled.
A source close to the situation spoke to MMANews.com's Michael Moody on a condition of anonymity and explained that the blood tests came back right before Aleks and Buentello were scheduled to weigh in and that is why there was so much confusion around the stage and why the fighters did not weigh in. Gary Goodridge ended up stepping up on extremely short notice and filling in for the Russian heavyweight"
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the problem is the longer you have it the worst it is and it never really goes away if it has been left to fester for a long time and you will always test positive for it.
He will be fine but this will mess up all of his fights in America and Europe I think. Even if you're ok you can't show a positive test.

Just clicked on a few forums for the first time in a week or so and it looks like this topic has exploded all over the place.
Wait and see…considering the Sean Sherk mess its obvious the CSAC has issues.

Man...that sucks....I really liked Aleks
On a side note...even if the Goodridge/Buentello fight sucked its just awesome that Goodridge would step up on 1 days notice. It shows he really loves what he does.

No because he was already in the US.
He has to get a special work permit due to his criminal background.

Probably just another steaming pile of CSAC crap...

No...
If the CSAC came out and said it was Hep I wouldn't believe Aleks either...
