After the Gasol trade, I guess there is always a chance for a lopsided trade if the other team sees some benefit to them. We tend to think in terms of the benefit being how such and such player fits in, but often it is the financial impact that is in the other team's interest.

i watched a few SL games but i must admit i dont recall noticing him on the court. i definitely liked what i saw on the vboxscores but after watching this clip, hes got a nice build. seems very strong and i really think with a great deal of work he could develop a strong low post game with the ideal level of elton brand or david west and the more realistic level of brandon bass.

Gist and Hairston are yet to be signed, but it's only a matter of time before they get a deal similar if not identical to Tolliver's. Since they own the draft rights to both players, they don't have to sign them as quickly as they did Tolliver.
