"Lakers reserve guard Sasha Vujacic, a restricted free agent, is prepared to leave the team and accept an offer from a European team in the next few days if the Lakers don't make him an offer he deems fair, according to a source in the Vujacic camp who spoke only on the condition of anonymity."

one thing ive always hated bout them lakers........vujacic can easily be replaced......., for some teams it might take a trade here, some luck there to fill in a role players shoes...........the lakers just have to pick up a phone.....and i quote "everytime we beat the lakers im happy, everytime the lakers beat us im not happy, im up for revenge"

Please use periods and actual complete, independent sentences. The series of dots between your random, disconnected thoughts is headache inducing.

I agree with your initial statement, but I'd like to add that your avatar is headache inducing as well.

He'll stay: 5 years, 15 millions...after all, there's also some European player who wants to stay in the NBA...:-) :-) Really, they would ALL stay, if they would pay them as much as in Europe: everybody also here in Europe dreams about playing against better players in the world...Vujacic more than others (I think that he had better offers in Europe, but LA is LA, and Sasha, when he wasn't playing, in the first times, never left his dream of playing in the NBA: now that he has playing time, it would be foolish to leave, even for more money...). But, as Childress-scenario teaches, first "how much", then "where", finally "how many playing time"..

Slightly over payed but a good signing for them. Does this mean it costs them $30 mil?

I really thought Vujacic would have been the perfect fit for the Spurs. 5M for 3 years is a little much, but I think that is pretty fair. The Lakers would have matched the MLE offer obviously, but I think he would have done well in S.A.
