I have a soon to be sixteen year old. (Stay away :nope all perverts)

She wants to have a small party where there is a dj or band to dance to.

Preferably latin, salsa or top 40. Maybe ten to twelve people in her party.

Need an area where we can be separated from the drinking crowd but near for me to snag a beer now and then.

Any Club Restaurant Ideas?

I usually only browse here. But I am hoping someone can give me some Ideas.

Thanks in advance my San Antonio brethren!

I don't know of any clubs that will allow 16 yr olds where there is liquor being sold but I could be wrong. I'll have to assume she doesn't want a party at home. I'm frugal so an at home party would be my suggestion. Good luck. My oldest just turned 14 and we had a party at Incredible Pizza but it was only for her and 5 of her friends.

Probably best to rent a dance hall and hire a DJ that lets you bring your own bottles...some even have pay bars...

I was going to suggest the Leon Springs Dancehall, but I had no idea they closed 2yrs ago!! It's a shame because it was such a fun family place--you could eat, drink, and dance to live music, with your kids there. Too bad.

How 'bout Blanco Ballroom?

Thats to big and would cost to much for only her and 12 friends.

There's a place on Callaghan and Culebra road that I went to a birthday party too that let's you bring bottles, has a pay-as-you-go bar and you can bring your own DJ...plus it's reasonable....probably because it's in a bit of a rough neighborhood.....

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Cabo's is a restaruant/bar that has DJ's and segregated areas is a maybe.

Probably best though to hire DJ and control the environment.
