The Clippers waived big man Josh Powell on Wednesday.

There was no room on the roster for Powell with big men like Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, rookie DeAndre Jordan and breakout candidate Al Thornton all on board.

I think his game could also compare well with Kurt THomas' game. Wouldn't be a bad pickup to take a look at during camp. He does rebound pretty well.

He has a nice mid range jumper and loves to rebound. I don't think the Spurs look at him with Tolliver signed.

I can see Powell going back to Dallas.
