Favre told ESPN he doesn’t have a problem with competing with Rodgers for the starting job, and can “truly understand” why McCarthy would make Rodgers the starter. But Favre also said a competition “probably isn’t going to work” and that “the problem is that there’s been a lot of damage done and I can’t forget it.”http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AslFav1kS2uJylAIIN1Nz9Y5nYcB?slug=ap-packers-favre&prov=ap&type=lgns

In the last three weeks Favre has undone every bit of his legacy and respect he earned during his playing days :td

I'll still draft him on my fantasy team...solid backup QB in the 9th round.

the way i see it, he retired. then a few months later when his body wasn't hurting so bad from the last season, he changed his mind. i think that's reasonable.

then he wanted to return to play for his old team. i think that's natural, and even shows loyalty.

all along, his old team was trying to dissuade him from returning, which is understandable if they think Rodgers is better now than Favre

i also think it's reasonable for favre to talk with ANY team, including GB's division rivals. It's a competitive sport and a business.

The Packers did what they thought was best for the organization, and Favre's doing what he thinks is best for him.

I personally think the Packers are making a mistake by going with Rodgers, but Favre really screwed up by calling other teams on the Packers phone. (was that proven?)

En todo, I hope the Texans get Favre.

Since Favre is a rookie and all it's very understandable that he didn't know that a NFL player is worn out in March but recharged to play again in August :rolleyes
