dumb move on brett's part.

Jets have the easier schedule but that team is not as good as the Bucs were.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if the Jets turned around and traded him to the Vikings? Wonder if the deal includes a "Brett-cannot-be-traded-to-NFC" clause.

The Jets??

Favre should of pushed for a release by showing up to camp and outplaying Rodgers. Im a firm believer in the Madden curse and I think he will have a bad year on that team.

The Jets are going to be a powerhouse.

:lmao

I couldn't say that with a straight face.

Fuck you Brett Favre, I hope you break your ankles in a preseason game.

Your records belong to Peyton Manning, he's just letting you borrow them for now. (and then Manning will just be holding them for Vince Young).

The Jets are a true threat in the AFC East. I actually am a little bit worried about them.

They've been hot and cold this decade, but the one thing that puts them in the playoffs is when Pennington had a semi-decent year. They've had a respectable defense for the most part, and even though I hate that fuck, Mangini is a good coach.

With Favre and Gholston, I could see the Jets going 11-5 or so this season.

I said this before, I wouldn't put it past a rat fuck like Mangini to fuck over the Packers like that.

The Chargers won't be very good this year, but to have a worse record than the Texans, they'll have to win 4 games or less, since 5-11 is about where the Texans will finish. I don't see that happening.

Dumb piece o shit forgot he's on the Madden cover. His consecutive games played record will be finished by week 3 at the latest.

It won't happen.

The Packers covered their bases by stipulating that if the Jets attempt to trade him to the Vikings, they will have to surrender 3 first round picks to the Packers.

Favre is definitely an upgrade over Pennington/Clemons, but people forget that Favre had a few mediocre seasons before last year. And that was, more or less, in the same system for 16 years.

Favre has to learn a whole new system, terminology, etc. in less than a month. And he's playing in a pretty tough conference to boot.

He'll be fine.

TB, Minnesota, the Jets were all interested because they all run similiar west coast offenses that the Packers have been running for years.

I predict a smooth transition.

Jets will be fighting with Buffalo for 2nd place. The Patriots are by far the best team in that division. Favre joining the Jets doesnt change that. Also cant forget the Madden curse.

I saw what the Super Bowl XLIII champion Jets hats and t shirts will look like tonight, and I have to say, any NFL fan is gonna want one even if they're not a Jets fan. They're real hot.
