Damn, that Turtle intro takes me back. Probably 15 years since I've seen that shit and I still knew most of the words.

I was down with Batman the Animated Series.
m-u07UEDT5I
(Still am, got the DVD's, and if you ask me, collectively, the Animated Series absolutely blows BB and Dark Knight out of the water when it comes to the best portrayal of the Gotham Universe.)

Basically, to this day I like everything that came out of the WB animation studios during the 90's and it's what I liked as a kid too. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Batman, Superman. All good shows; quality shit. Hell, I think a lot of that stuff is up there with Spielberg's best work (as far as his non-war/drama stuff goes).

Other than that, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Double Dare, Ghostbusters, Transformers, He-Man, Bugs Bunny & WB etc, Ghostwriter, Cheers, The Simpsons, fucking Reading Rainbow with Jordie LaForge. Probably a lot more. Man, TV used to be awesome, these days I just get depressed by shit like The Wire and multiple viewings of the same fucking Sportscenter.

Don't know if I agree with this, but I would absolutely love, once Nolan is done with his vision of Batman, for the next director to do films that recreate that Dark Deco look and the tone of the animated series.

That show was great. Too bad MTV is such a bunch of PC bitches and censored it when some dumbfuck kid blamed the show when he set his house on fire.

Did you know that BTAS used charcoal to set up their animation. That's why it looks like that. When it moved to the WB and ran with the Gotham Knights part, they switched to a red sky background The only problem i had with BTAS was that they used those 30's era cars that Burton used in the movies.

I remember thinking this show was gonna be crap, but it was pretty good

E20

I had a lot up to the 7th grade:
Captain Planet
Power Rangers (The Orginal)
Rugrats
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
The New Adventures of Superman
Superman and Batman
X-Men
Gargoyles (FTMFW!)
Doug
Rocko's Modern Life (Although it sometimes scared me as a little kid)
Ren and Stimpy (same as above)
Angry Beavers (Was it just me or did sometimes they do some homosexual shit?)

I forgot the name, but that one gameshow on Nickeloedon where the contestants go into video games and shit.

Arthur
Reading Rainbow
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Sonic the Hedgehog
The Tick
Street Fighter II Animated Series
Aladdin
Hercules (The Animated One)
The Legendary Adventures of Hercules (w/ Kevin Sorbo)
Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck/Porky Pig cartoons
Tom and Jerry
Courage the Cowardly Dog (I still watch this)
Spongebob Squarepants (Still watch this)

There are other shows, but I can't seem to recall them right now.

Also I would put Dragonball Z on there, but I don't think that was a kids show and I still watch that, in fact I'm rewatching that right now. I sort of have the same opnion about Yugioh and I sometimes watch an episode here or there.

I was obsessed with Transformers, Reading Rainbow, 321 Contact, and Newton's Apple.

Of course, I also watched a crapload of Frugal Gourmet, This Old House, etc. PBS was awesome in the 80's.

Get ready to shit your pants guys. Not sure if y'all know this but Captain Planet is being made into a live action movie. :lmao Can't wait to see who plays Captain Planet and whether or not he'll have a mullet.

http://www.wired.com/underwire/2011/07/captain-planet/

Classic environmentally themed cartoon Captain Planet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Planet_and_the_Planeteers) is being made into a movie, under the gaze of Transformers producer Don Murphy.
