Azuca had a decent one but I haven't been there in quite some time. Good question though cause I love good paella.

Yeah dude, shit is good. You should see some of the giant bats they make in Spain.

OP, if you like this then you should also try the seafood caldo at Azuca if you go. Its really really really really good.

out of rehab unit at hospital atm, his been home for like 1.5weeks now.....

still havin trouble getting strength to lift up anything or walk....

You're nuts: fresh mussels are incredible, and who doesn't like prawns or clams?

rice w/ saffron = the shit

As long as you pull the tails out and throw the rest away on the prawns, that looks like a pretty fucking badass meal.

chowhound.com is a website that i use. it's made up of groups of people, so i guess it's good. these groups of people with taste buds hang out in the boards and give lots of recommendations. granted, i just check out the dallas area. maybe there are some san antonio groups of people there. enjoy

The paella at Azuca is good but it has a South American flair to it. It's still pretty good, though. You can also go to El Mirador on Thursdays and they have it for lunch. It's much closer to spanish paella but it doesn't have any seafood in it. It has chicken and sausage.

There are a few Mediterranean restaurants I haven't tried but they might have some.
