My roommate was watching the news when the sports were on. When I walked into the room they said that Tim injured his ankle in practice :bang :cry. Does anybody know what happened and how bad it is?

KSAT news just showed Pop talking about it. Tim rolled the ankle after stepping on someone's foot. He is being referred to as "doubtful" for Tuesday.

Fake reports on an injury are BS.

The injury is minor and Duncan is considered doubtful for the Bobcats. That's the only news.

99% of these boards are "fake"...I'm just adding some levity to the proceedings...man the sensitivity has increased 2 fold....

No shit. Voice any opinion you want, but making up stuff about someone being hurt shows no class.

nobody found your joke funny, sounds like you are the sensitive one.

Time to take your act on the road, then.

Oh so this was all made up, sad i tell you,

Kori Ellis
02-07-2005, 02:24 PM
No, the injury wasn't made up. Medvedenko's post about Duncan tearing his achilles was fake.

Duncan was actually injured in practice and is doubtful for Tuesday. The injury isn't considered serious .. probably just a tweak.

Medvedenko

Whatever....I guess I'll take my conjecture and humour show on the road....no more posting rumours or heresay on this board.....please that's all I see.

Kori Ellis

Look, what you said wasn't a rumour or hearsay -- you just completely made it up. And that's never been allowed here.

Usually Medvedenko is cool. I guess the losing and not playing is getting to him.

Keep your head up, Slava.

Was he not injured, yes...the rest was classic hyperbole...Seriously Kori, after TD hurt his knee against the lakers..there were numerous posts saying he's out for the season...doom and gloom type stuff...Sometimes the irony of this board is lost...

It's simple, if you don't like it, leave.

I very rarely censor people here, but you can't just make up complete BS on an injury.

In other news, Slava broke his shooting toe and will be out for the season! J/King! :lol

No worries Rose will dominate Okafur = mark it down!

:lmao

The only reason Rose will dominate Okafor is because he is on the IL with a sprained ankle...I don't know if you have watched him but that rookie is damn good...

It's just my guess, but I bet Duncan misses the next couple games. Pop won't mess with an injury to the team's best player.

Also, a few losses before the Drama Queen signs up is good for the ratings, I guess. The Action Hero needs a cause, you know.

TD needs the time off. Phil Jackson used to let Shaq take time off in mid-season for usually 8 to 10 games ostensibly because of some minor injury. Given the minutes that TD has logged over the last year, I think it's a good idea for him to get some rest.

Duncan could miss tommarow as well as Rasho and the SPurs should still beat these clowns by 20.

Ginobili Parker Rose and everyone better be ready to play D and run the offense correctly.

Anybody complaining of Duncan has to be realistic, except for 2000 when he went down with a severe injury the guy has been a stud playing huge minutes until this year.

He is still a stud, he will get well, relax.

I'm hearing rumors that Duncan isn't even going on the road trip...this isn't true is it?

It has to be some really bad injury in order for him to miss the entire road trip. But, I dont know if it's true or not.
