Personally, I think Mareese Speights will do good. I remember some mock drafts putting him as high as 6 before his stock fell.

Not only will he win Rookie of the Year, but Jerryd Bayless will win MVP honors. He will average 56 points per game on 80% shooting from the floor. He will also average 0.3 assists per game.

I figured it would be co-ROY/MVP with fellow rookie Nikolus Batum...

Eh I wouldn't get such high hopes for Batum but Bayless should surely be a top contender

He better not be. That would make another fuckup for the mavs front office.

If I remember clearly I don't think the Mavs had a high enough pick to draft him anyway

They could've bought their way into a high enough position to draft him. A late first-rounder will cost you about $3 million.

Wow and with Cubans deep pockets that would have been nothing to him, that sux for Mavs fans because you guys need a solid 2 guard. I still think Gerald Green will eventually reach his potential but it probably wont be this year. I wonder why the Hawks Front office didnt think about buying up in the draft :bang:bang

They said that there was no need to draft Chris Douglas-Roberts because we already had Reyshawn Terry. Yeah, CDR will probably be alright for the Nets this year while Terry while never make it home from Europe.

I saw Terry play a little during the summer league vs my hawks. He looks like he can become a mini James Posey.

Mario Chalmers.
If the Heat don't make a trade for a veteran PG, I can see him winning the starting job. And, with Wade and Beasley, his job is pretty much simple. Play defense, don't turn the ball over, and hit open jumpers. I think he can do very well playing that role.

I dont see how a lottery pick can be considered a sleeper so I will eliminate Thompson as my pick.
