Raptors guard Vince Carter wants out of Toronto, and there are rumors about the star not showing up to training camp in early October. However, friend and point guard Milt Palacio doesn't think Carter will go that far. "Vince is not a bad guy. He'll be here," Palacio told the Toronto Sun. The point guard also squashed concerns about Carter potentially pouting and not giving his all. "He knows what's at stake, he knows we're trying to make the playoffs," Alston said. "I think he'll put out his best effort, night in and night out."

Raptors general manager Rob Babcock would have a tough time getting a good value for Carter because (a) the Raptors would lose a huge ticket seller and (b) opposing teams likely aren't offering much for such an injury-prone player. So, we expect Vince to be a Raptor this season and hope that Palacio is right about his attitude.
