View Full Version : Nice hotel in downtown Chicago

Anyone live there, or been there and have a great suggestion for a hotel? 2 nights, nothing in the thousand dollar range but i the 100 150 180 range would be ok.

I was gonna ask here for people's opinions before going out on my own to get one.

Whatever you do, stay away from Hotel 71.

The Hyatt Regency was very nice, though.

Hyatt Regency on Wacker is nice.

So is the W, but the prices are hit and miss. I've, on rare occasion, gotten 149 a night. But then other times its closer 300.

The Palmer House Hilton on Monroe is gorgeous.

Rates are going to depend on when you want to stay there, though. Got a great deal when I was there in December.

anyhow...i stayed at the allegro...buses to anywhere you need to go...

walkin distance to the sears tower and museum of art...

shit, walking distance to all da deep dish pizza places...

have some fuckingfun man...take in a cubs game in the bleachers fo sure!

party in wrigleyville all you can...

take in a show at improv olympic if you can...they got beer ontap...

$100 per night won't even get you a stay at motel 6.

STAY AT THE JAMES

it is an awesome Hotel, I stayed there just a couple weeks ago

I don't live there anymore, but I used to and alot of my family still does. The James is my favorite hotel in Chicago- my sister works there. Awesome beds, nice ass rooms, great location....it's the best

When I went to Chicago, I stayed in a Motel 6 by O'Hare for $50 a night. The Blue Line will take you inside the loop.

Yeah if this was for business and just whatever, then I'd do that.

This is with a special someone, and its a mini vacation before my season is over with, so wanted to make it a little extra special.

Yeah her cousin told me that last night on the phone too, but she agreed the James would be perfect :lol
