Yes. Although you might be thinking of The Verve Pipe who had an even more annoying song a few years back too. Either way yes.

I'm glad they reformed. I loved Ashcrofts solo work but The Verve was something else. Urban Hymns is one of my favorite albums of all time. It's fantastic.

Hopefully they'll stay together for a few more albums.

Bittersweet symphony was it. God I hate that song.

I'm not sure what the Freshman song is.

It's annoying after having heard it for the 1,000,00th time, yet it's sad that they pocketed nothing for what has easily been their biggest hit. It sucks to sample a Stones song, have lyrics that are completely different, and get absolutely nothing for it while watching the revenue from it buy Mick Jagger another face lift. Allen Klein is such a badass.

I am sure that you have heard both Bittersweet Symphony and The Freshman if you look them up on Napster.
